A dystopia feature film

In a dystopian and secluded society, people who seem to live in serenity and harmony are unconsciously manipulated by the Elders, the absolute authority of the town. From linguistics to aesthetics, from mannerisms to routines, the manipulation seems less like an obligation, but an exotic culture. Quan, a photo studio owner, chooses to live a seemingly insipid life until she meets two young men full of dreams, who aim to bring new ideas to the town through music and photography. Quan gradually picks up her camera and her unspoken determination even when she discovers the town’s secret is crawling in.
